What Is TrackMan iO?
TrackMan is the golf technology trusted by PGA Tour players, top instructors, and club fitters around the world. TrackMan iO is its indoor system, built specifically for simulator golf.
TrackMan iO uses two radars and a high-speed camera, along with infrared technology, to measure your club and ball at impact. That real data powers a realistic ball flight on screen, so playing indoors feels as close to being on the course as possible.
Why Play TrackMan at The Highlands?
It's connected to a real golf course. Learn your true numbers in the simulator, then take them straight onto our course. Practice and play in one place.
You can take a lesson from a PGA pro. Our PGA professionals can use TrackMan data during lessons to show you exactly what your swing is doing and how to improve it.
It's right here in Post Falls. No need to drive into Coeur d'Alene or Spokane to play indoors.
It's open 7 days a week. Simulator hours are 10am to 7pm every day.
Golf in Any Weather
North Idaho's golf season is short, and rain, wind, smoke, and snow can wipe out a planned round any time of year. With our TrackMan simulators, you can:
- Keep playing through the off-season and on bad-weather days
- Maintain your swing so you're ready when the course is in prime shape
- Stay competitive with your golf group year-round
- Play a full 18 holes faster than you would outdoors
Play 280+ Courses From Around the World
TrackMan's library includes more than 280 courses from around the world, including 51 Tour venues, with new courses added regularly. Play a legendary championship course you've only seen on TV, try a new layout every week, or challenge friends on a course none of you have played.
Swing Analytics on Every Shot
For golfers who want to improve, TrackMan's data is where the simulator really shines. After each shot, you'll see numbers like:
- Club speed and ball speed: how fast you swing and how efficiently that energy reaches the ball
- Launch angle and spin: what controls how high your ball flies and how it lands
- Carry and total distance: how far each club really goes
- Club path and face angle: why your ball curves left or right
Knowing your real carry distance with each club is one of the quickest ways to make better decisions and lower your scores. Many golfers find their actual numbers are different from what they assumed.
Games for Kids and Adults
TrackMan isn't just for serious practice. Built-in games and skill challenges for kids and adults make the simulator a fun outing for the whole family, even for people who have never swung a club.
Great for Beginners, Families, and Groups
The simulator is a relaxed, private space where new golfers can learn at their own pace with no one waiting behind them. It's also a great fit for:
- Family outings and kids getting into golf
- Get-togethers with friends
- Work outings and team building in Post Falls
- Birthday parties and private events
